I see "new messages" info for thread that was hidden by moderators on my account page. I don't need that info and want to unsubscribe from that thread. How can I do it?

I would contact the moderators and ask them to unhide the thread just long enough for you to unsubscribe to it, they can then re-hide it afterward.

One of those omissions that I thought had been fixed a while ago, but I can't find any evidence of it. So I requested it as an Enhancement at #1148.
