on my task page work unit 840056648 was sent on the 18th oct 2011 and is in progress.however i did not receive it and its not running on my computer.
can someone please help?

We call these "ghost" workunits... workunits that the server thinks it sent to your computer but your computer never received.


The Project Administrators turned on a feature called "Resend lost tasks" which should clear this up by the server cross-checking it's list with what is on your computer and sending any missing tasks.


If it doesn't, it's really no big deal (and there's nothing you can do about it). The workunit will simply time out and be sent to someone else. It doesn't count against you.
