	. . . accolades to you - for the explicit values you placed in a common-sensibility (Welcome to The Project - btw xclusive) . . . accolades as well - To everybody @ Berkeley and The Projects Gripe: nothing negative today. Kudos: To everyone involved in this project. As a child I remember reading and watching anything I could find that had to do with S.E.T.I. I vaguely remember the project being endangered and even shutdown? at a few points in history. As an adult, it's truly a great feeling to be able to contribute to the modern version of the project with my very own machines. I think I'm going to like it here, and I think I'm going to stay awhile. So THANKS to everyone who makes it happen. 	My gripe is no WU's. I enabled Astropulse 505 and V6 on 3 of my 4 machines. My GTX580 with 12 cpu's has 1 WU stuck in download and is not receiving any. My GTX570 machine has 2 completed WU's and 1 stuck in download. I have some Einstein WU's filling in time on it. My 2 slower machines have been getting all the WU's they can handle. It's been like this for a week at least. Bob B. ____________

	Over the last 12 hours or so, the upload/download issues seem to have disappeared! I am not sure what changed, but whatever it was, it worked. I finally have a full cache, and no download stalls at all. Kudos! ____________ Dublin, CA

I finally have a full cache, and no download stalls at all. Kudos! From the cricket graph and the status page, they seem to have stopped producing/allocating AstroPulse WUs then, so the load on the outgoing traffic eased away from maxed-out. That's always good for response times. I had a huge number of download failures the last few days, due to congestion at Berkeley and at work -> time-outs, I guess. ____________

I've practically stopped requesting work, while the change in runtime estimates (and the splurge of extra work requests on Tuesday night/Wednesday) works its way out of my systems. And I didn't see many shorties when I was requesting work - that always helps, too.

	Kudos: Crunching again. :) Best machine I have ever had. Gripes: Had to restore windows twice since rejoining and I suspect the virus software itself plus windows updates have messed with my system. Feel bad about all the corrupted wu's. Maybe third times the charm. Spent some good times trying to make sure programs on this machine do not make decisions without asking me first. ____________

	Gripe: Have not received CPU work units for over a month now. Kudos: My GPU's are crunching away:) Is anyone else "NOT" getting assigned CPU work units? Usual cure: from your account page click on "Seti@Home Preferences" then go to "Separate preferences for [home\|school\|work]" and uncheck "Use NVIDIA GPU" and save preferences. This will stop BOINC from asking for GPU work, but still crunch what it has received. Tip: Set this up permanently for "school", say, and then use the "Computer details" page for individual computers to swap them in and out of the location whenever you do/do not want GPU work. ____________
