Oh well. It's 12:01 in the Eastern US. Still here.

I wonder if Sarah Palin can see it from her house...

Only the true believers will know it and be picked up by the space ship hidden in the comet's tail. The rest of us who have doubt, life goes on exactly as before.

politicians would cut xmas....

The worlds people could cut out Xmas by simply refusing to buy anything associated with it. That would rattle a few corporate feathers ...

Yes, the great depression would seem like a grain of sand.

In this I agree with you. Stop shopping for christmas. Use the money to help a deserving family with food for their table or support a food bank. Simply tell the kids that there will be no toys for christmas. Clothes yes, but no toys. I grew up right after WW-II and we had some chritmases where the only thing under the tree were clothes (some shirts and pants made by my mother).

Let the junk from China stay on the shelves. That should put a panic into Wall Street and big businesses. If you must buy then do some research and make sure you're buying products Made in America.

Most of things are mae in China, Vietnam, India, Indonesia or other 3rd world country, so it would be a very poor Xmas :D

Even clothes would be difficult to buy with the brand made in the US or EU, unless if they are luxury items :D

When I bought clothes last(which was 5 years ago), they are only 6XL and probably made somewhere else(Pakistan or maybe Bangladesh or somewhere, but USA? Nope.), I found out long ago that places like the Gap sell only to people who are skinny and who do resemble a telephone pole, So I've bought from Kingsize Direct instead, shoes though were about a year back, I wear size 11 5E, new undershorts about 2 years ago.

If so I will need to plan my WU's around it if there is...I

Why would I buy something made in America when I live in Sweden? America is not the world, but just a small small part of the world.

Ow you hurt my ego... I want to invade Sweden. If only it had large quantities of Oil or was located someplace warmer... You are so lucky... ; )

There is another end of the world pending, the date should be 21 December 2012

So next here there will be no Xmas :D

can you hold it over 24 th of december? since in finland, as well as in sweden we have that wonderfull christmas ham, roasted in oven, that will beat that lame turkey by hundreds against zero, and i don´t care about christmas, but i do love the ham, so delay the end of the world just few days so i can eat the pork before, thank you.

I think this prediction is out by two days. Year 2012 adds up to 5 and the day
21st only adds up to 3. So I suspect the real day next December is the 23rd
because this adds up to 5 too. Still, either way it looks like Aristoteles is
still going to miss-out on his "roasted ham"....better celebrate early I say.

I've worked it out now....It's the year that's wrong. December being the 12th month so adds up to 3. The 21st of this month adds up to 3 and since 2012 adds up to 5 so this is where the error has been made. The year needs to add up to 3 too so the correct year must then be 2100. Aristoteles, get your ham in for
Christmas and enjoy it and for the next 89 Christmas's to come.
