How do I change the allocation of disk space? I am running rosetta and SETI. Presently Disk window in BOINC Manager says SETI is allocated 113 KB and rosetta 257 MB. How do I balance these two? Thanks |

Those numbers are not what is allocated but what each project is using currently. If you get a number of work units from SETI, that number will go up. |

I should have mentioned there is also a message in Notices stating "SETI Enhanced needs 32.00 MB more disk space. You currently have 0.00 MB available and it needs 32.00 MB" |

I should have mentioned there is also a message in Notices stating "SETI Enhanced needs 32.00 MB more disk space. You currently have 0.00 MB available and it needs 32.00 MB" Now it makes a little more sense. You need to either make the change in either the manager-Tools-Computing Preferences-disk & memory usage tab or at this location. The manager sets it for that machine only and the url will set it for all machines on your account. I keep mine at 10 GB for BOINC to give it some cushion.[/url] |
