i'm getting this message on seti

:- This computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress

but i have got upto ten days of work units can be downloaded in my pref settings

any ideas

We have a download limit atm.

50 tasks for each CPU core plus 400 for GPU.

Since the problems that we had the other week we have been limited ATM to 50 per CPU core (the last week was only 50 per CPU) and 400 per video card.

[Edit] Mike beat me to it as I had to answer the phone mid post.

i have got 98 for cpu and only 228 for my gpu, i have got amd 550 dual core cpu and a hd 6970 gpu

What I am finding is that if your system asks for CPU units, and you are full, it will reply with that message. You stated you have 98 CPU tasks, which is very close to full given your two cores, so I am thinking your last request for work was for the CPU.

I think they did some playing around with the limits last week. As I did start to get more tasks & currently my HTPC gets 302 MB CPU tasks and then hits the limit on tasks message.
