Would he have gotten the confirmation email if he had not?
I am assuming, Frank, that you are only using 1 email addy?

Yes I am only using the one email addy and that is the one that I put in for the donation, also put it in the "notes" area just in case.

If you donate through the GPU Users Group it REALLY helps us if you enter your SETI User ID. Without it or a username, we can't award your green star.

We're hoping to tie in an automated system that will remove the need to do the above, but for now the best way is to simply add your SETI ID. Usernames can be tricky as if someone puts in Jon, there's likely 200 users with that same exact user name.

Good question, which I forgot to ask....I don't think that's the default for a new account however, and would suspect Frank would not be looking for his star if he had set that.
But a good thing to verify, for sure.
