That is a common occurrence Shadowcats, I recently did some upgrading to a few of my Computers (New MotherBoard-CPU & Memory) and I didn't change the names of them either. Now I can't Merge either one of them with the original configured Computers but can actually Merge them with each other and 2 other Computers when all 4 are different Computers ... Go Figure ... |

I'm not really sure but I think I read somewhere where sometime in the future we will be able to delete the invaild computers from our list once all the data or returned results from that computer have cleared the Data Base, or something like that anyway ... I would like to see this also, as I have 2 or 3 computers on my list that I can't Merge or Delete and they are no longer or ever will be part of the Project again because they have been upgraded into another configuration ... There really is no problem if you can't merge them other than it mucks up your Account Computer List & probably gives the Server false information on how many computers you actually have running the project & then it gives a false report on how many total computers are running the Project also... |
