I use these values, but 25% should be fine for your system.
Disk: use at most 10 GB
Disk: leave free at least 0.001 GB
Disk: use at most 100% of total
Tasks checkpoint to disk at most every 60 seconds
Swap space: use at most 100% of total
Memory: when computer is in use, use at most 100% of total
Memory: when computer is not in use, use at most	100% of total

On several of my systems I put BOINC on a separate partition. Either the swap partition of the system, or a BOINC only partition of about 2GB. Which is more than enough even for my 24 core machine with a 10 day cache. On my Core 2 Duo T7200 I use 200MB partition.

if you crunch and other projects about for example Einstein 10GB will be very low if you want to have a cache for 10 days :)
