"Yes I am talking to myself, yeah yeah..."

Not really like Billy the Idol, but it seems my double post kicked SETI@Home in another dimension where we're not longer able to connect in any way, neither by proxy nor by trans-dimensional warp antimatter black-hole Kung-Fu Chas-Cha Voodoo magic.
To sad. :-))

@ admin(s):
Could you "please" delete one of my double posts above (guess which one)?
No idea how I managed to achieve this.
Thanks & BR Andy

I've been uploading and downloading MB WU's all the time without any bigger problems. I used to run AP only, but for the last 2 weeks or so, there has not been produced one single new AP WU as far as I can tell, only resends.

But changing to MB crunching only immeditately started to fill my caches. I'm full all the time now, up to the messages:

Message from server: This computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress

I'm sure they will start producing new AP's any decade now....

APs ready to send 31,276 atm.

I would be happy to get some MBs right now.

Crunching beta most of the day.
I´m just wondering why i get GPU work over there.

With each crime and every kindness we birth our future.

I don't know if uploads work, I'm dry for about one week, so ...

Downloads: funny message which I've never seen before
04.10.2011 22:58:11 SETI@home Requesting new tasks for CPU and GPU
04.10.2011 22:58:43 SETI@home Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
04.10.2011 22:58:43 SETI@home Message from server: No tasks sent
04.10.2011 22:58:43 SETI@home Message from server: Tasks won't finish in time: BOINC runs 73.9% of the time; computation is enabled 100.0% of that

BOINC runs whenever my computer is running, so almost at 100% of the time!
NB: times are UTC+2

Well, the good news is I finally managed to uploand and report the 47 tasks on my "work" pC, which had been sitting ready for over a week.

The bad news is, still can't get any new work. So it's still idle.

Small steps.....

But does your computer run 24/7, or do you shut it down overnight?
73% implies you shut it down for about 8 hours a day.

The scheduler seems to be telling you that, with what it knows of your processor speed and DCF/APR, you are not running your computer long enough for BOINC to complete the tasks within deadline.

Since your computers are hidden, I can't tell any more than that.

Uploads and reporting went without a hitch after the outage.

So, finally around 18:00 UTC it started downloading and atm it keeps getting better and better (around 700 WUs in total for my 3 machines).

Results upload is fine as well.

Both only via proxy though :-)

Thought I'd bump this thread, we need more happy around these here parts. Anyhow, as a mini cruncher I've had no problem uploading or reporting. Even with the limit of 50 tasks per CPU, once one task gets finished another downloads in no time.

Yep. Uploads work. Downloads work. Enough work units
come in to keep going 24/7 on GPU and CPU. What more
could one ask for?
