Hello to all

I finaly decide to ask help about a critical problem I have on 2 different computers using the ASUS ENGTS450 nvidia card .

Both computers are crashing after a time when the boinc is running this happen when the craphics are displayed on screen .

The screen after a time completely freeze and I am locked no way to correctly stop the computer .
It happen also frequently that the computer reboot him self and then give vga problem .

This happen on two differents computer and I am sure my hardware is perfectly working since I removed bonc from one of the computer it is no longer crashing .

Do anyone have any solution regarding this problem ? I am sure to not be alone with this problem I installed the last vga drivers this not resolved the issue .

Thx
Oliver

You shouldn't run the screensaver/project graphics at the same time as the GPU is used to work on a task.

So, either turn the screensaver off or disable the sending of GPU tasks on the SETI@home preferences page.

BOINC does cause some extra CPU usage, which means you have to keep up with cleaning out the dust bunnies every couple of months.
