I'd like to transfer the credit from my old SETI classic account (1770 WUs) to my normal current account. How can I go about doing that?

Obviously, you did exactly that already. ;-)

From your account summary:
SETI@home classic workunits 1,770
SETI@home classic CPU time 18,620 hours

Gruß,
Gundolf

Back in SETI Classic, a record was kept on how many workunits you completed and how many hours time you had contributed.

In SETI-BOINC, you are credited with Cobblestones, which is a rough approximation of how many calculations you've done per workunit (some workunits can award several hundred Cobblestones of credit).

Because of the large disparity in the way this record keeping has been done, it was decided that you would keep a memento of your work as a separate stat in your account, but the old workunit count would not be directly transferred into Cobblestones (credits).

As Gundolf has pointed out, you have already linked your old Classic account with your BOINC-SETI account, and your momento is properly posted in your account of your past contributions.

NO, Boinc accounts can't be merged. This relates to cheats some people used in Seti Clasic. User name are irrelevant as they are not unique.

Your old account (19 Feb 2001, Total credit 71,508):
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/show_user.php?userid=273301

It is not clear which password you forgot?
The password for the email or the password for your old account?

You don't need working email. To use the old SETI account you need:
"email" used for your old SETI account (the "email" string is the real username of the account)
password used for your old SETI account

Or - if you still posses your old "Computers belonging to f6jig":
http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/hosts_user.php?sort=rpc_time&rev=0&show_all=1&userid=273301

you can find the file account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml on the old computers' hard disk
and use the <authenticator>1234567890abcdef123456789abcdef</authenticator> found inside

http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/get_passwd.php
