Why does BOINC show this message when I try to get stats via boincview (http://boincview.amanheis.de/)?

Original entry in log:

GUI RPC request from non-local address 0xac130d02

I have a local network with IP-addresses in the range of 172.19.13.0 with subnet mask /24.

I have searched the inet and I found that it will depend on the -allow-gui-rpc flag.

How is it possible to activate this on windows versions?

In the control panel, you can go to the services (in some versions, it is under the Administrative tools). Stop the service, and start with the flag. Unfortunately, this flag is not sticky. I believe that BOINC has to store this value someplace for usethe next time that the service is started.

OK thanx for your answer, but I think I've forgotten to say that i want to enable this flag in the normal GUI Version of boinc, not on the command line client.
