so i installed lunatics and the new boinc 6-12-33(x64) did setup config to runn 2 units on my new 560 ti card working nicely, then few days later the boinc is pauzing my gpu while running cpu on wierd priority files (enough time left to complete) kinda looked like it pauzed the gpu while pc is used but when it using my gpu again and i start a game it keeps running the gpu so i have nocluewhy it pauzed it and why its running now did move settings around but havent found a problem, same prefs are on the other pc's aswel and havent seen it on those, although i do not look at them all the time this pc seems to also do the fermi units much tofast compared to other pc this1 does them in 3 min 15 sec, some even are done in 7sec the other pc's with same setup does them in 15 to 22 min Joined Seti@home on 20 June 1999 (id:797875) Made This1 to Join the Eve Team http://www.eveonline.com/seti/ |

BOINC is very sensitive about the possibility of missing deadlines. If the deadline is a near miss given round robin scheduling, that task is given high priority. NOTE that if you set "Connect every X" to a large number, tasks will be more likely to run in high priority as the task has to finish before the report deadline - "Connect Every X days" in order to ensure that it can report on time as the computer may not be connected to the internet for that interval. "Connect Every X days" is a promise by you that you will allow BOINC to connect to the internet at least that often. It should be set to approximately match reality. BOINC WIKI |
