Message 1202493 - Posted: 4 Mar 2012, 22:58:57 UTC - in response to Message 1202487.

About 20yrs ago here one of our supermarket chains here were selling 5L ones and a few mates of mine tried them and they did age in the bag though I must say that I wasn't impressed with the results (maybe I'm too much of a "traditionalist" in this area) but then a lot of people that I know will drink anything so long as they get pissed. :)

Cheers.

Cheers.

I thought is was time for a few Budweisers. I usually wear my other clothes, but I don't post here when I'm wearing them. I am happy the beer drinking has been moving along so smoothly!

Cheers my friends!

Well the forums are supposed to be kid friendly, but in my case it's being father friendly.

First time post in the cafe !!

I came across this site and thought this might be the best place to share it :)

http://gk007a0336.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

If anyone could possibly start at the top of the list of fine ales reviewed on this
site, and work their way to the bottom,I would be interested to know the results
and you could possibly post them here.

It's good this thread is back in business. I'll have a Westmalle now (a Belgian beer of top fermentation, couldn't upload a picture though, pity)

When the wife and I went to England and France in 2002, Carlsburg was my favorire beer. How ever the imported version in the states was lame. I stiil dont understand why the US has to insist on lower alcohol percentages on imports.

My fav (if I drink, which I might not because I've not had a drop of suds in 3 years) my favorite is Killians Irish Red and Guinness and the other one made by Guinness which I can't remember the name of but I would know if I heard it.

Room temp is best.
The only thing I like cold is soda.
Water sometimes, but mostly that is room temp too lol

geez... killians sounds good about now lol
