We do have the Boston Beer Summit. I went for several years, but the price just got to high. A bunch of us from work would rent a 15 passenger van, and get a designated driver. It was a whole lot of fun. There were a few European beers there. Affligem is a Trappist ale I can think of, but a lot was microbrews. http://www.beersinboston.com/beer-summit-2011/ Eagle Raccoon Lovers |

Isn't it always beer o'clock? I haven't quite got out of student mode yet, 8 years of habitual constant drinking takes some time to shake off. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

Sat outside with a pint of Simonator's Best Bitter. Its a rich, amber beer with flavours of nettle and ginger, and light use of Goldings hops in the aftertaste. Tastes even better knowing that i created it, no other beer in the world is quite like it. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

The sun is always over the yard arm somewhere in the Empire. To my surprise, I am currently enjoying a (relatively) light beer. 4.2 %. |

My favourite beer was Tuborg, I was able to get it in Greenland at the US air base Tule. Due to my illness I don’t imbibe anymore. |

IIRC Bud (by Anheuser-Busch, Clydesdale horses and all) lost the right to call their beer Budweiser, outside the states. I think it's just plain Bud for quite a few years now. Reason is there's a Czech Budweiser! And this isn't a case of them trolling or me nitpicking but... I'm originally from the US, have lived in the UK for over 4 years (now living in Greece, but visiting London ATM), been to over 20 countries, and I gotta say, this is my favorite beer:) So put it on your bucket-list and make sure to try this one too! If the Czech stuff is too bitter for ya then, well... It's the Germans that are the undisputed Kings of Beer on this planet. "I ain't drinkin'! It's beer!" I'm glad to see there is no Tangle Foot in the box as that could really get the postman into trouble. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

Beer o'clock is traditionally 12 noon. Well it is in this house anyway. Well "Beer O'clock" here at my place is 11.30am to 2pm (nothing like a good liquid lunch). ;) Cheers. |

Beer o'clock is traditionally 12 noon. Well it is in this house anyway. Beer o'clock in my house is 12:00 until 11:59! That's a full minute of no drinking allowed! Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |
