	I was wondering if anyone knew why I have multiple instances of identical computers. To this day I am baffled why one computer will always duplicate itself, another computer seems to prefer two instances of itself and the third has not duplicated itself yet. I know that I can merge these instances when they appear, but I was just curious on why this was happening and was there anything I could do prevent this in the future.

	It is a known issue in the code. Detaching then re-attaching to the project will cause this (its happened to me every time). Sometimes, doing a project reset will as well (it happened to me once). Prevention: avoid detaching/reattaching to the project and avoid project resets. There may be another cause or two (bugs) running around in the code. Once the dust settles from the project launch, I am sure they will be found. If this happens to you, and you didn't do an attach or a reset, please post the relevant section of your log into a message in this area. Please include as many details about what was going when it happened as you can remember. This might help the Developers find the bug. I was working on another computer when I heard my Win2K machine reboot. When I went over to it, it had rebooted and Boinc had started up (something I wish I had disabled when i installed boinc). Things happened quickly but, I noticed that it requested a host id. When I checked, sure enough, it had changed it's identity and I had another computer listed. I did merge the two back into one but, now i have two WU's that are not recognized in the project folder. Any solution for this? I of course, dont have any portion of the log before this happened, as it rebooted itself. This is my first post. I thought about posting about not getting any WU's but................just kidding. HH

	> If it is still available, you can get the old log from ...BOINCstdout.old. Hummmmm, scratch that other post. The stdout.old file was allready replaced when I looked. My mistake. I am really only concerned about the two "lost" WU's in the project folder at this point. Not for me but, for whoever has/had those two WU's. Thanks John HH
