Because of Jeff's message in the News subforum: 'work generation temporarily halted' - and because of the frozen server status page ([As of 19 Aug 2011 | 21:10:05 UTC]).. - I guess one/a few server/services is/are additional offline also.. (intentionally or unintentionally). It's my fault. Every single time I go out of town... EVERY TIME... and I "phone home" to see that everything is progressing, the SAME computer decides not to call the home office and report or get new work. It's probably tying up the whole project calling all the other computers working on the project asking if anyone can score some beer and a stag film. Just wait until I get home... |

How do you figure? Right now there are no splitters active, and I can't get any work. Ok, yes, the network is functional. |

Rocking + rolling now. The server stats page accurately reflects what is going on so everything is rocking and rolling just like the project admins want. There isn't much that can be done on the weekend about the failed drive array which went down Friday. BOINC will do what it is designed to do and fall over to another project. If you don't have another project, that is a personal choice. |

Arghhhhh The H.E. Bug is happening again. Nothing has gone through from here since 21:20 UTC. I notice there was a blip in the Cricket graphs at around that time and they didn't recover to the previous level. T.A. EDIT: Found I can get through via a proxy in Denmark. If you're also having problems try 93.166.121.107:8118 in your proxy settings. EDIT 2: Attn. networking gurus. How do you do a ping test or a trace route through a proxy server ? |

highly unlikely that todays sunburst would affect data collected months ago. It's unlikely that everyone would be affected at the same time either. In a rich man's house there is no place to spit but his face. Diogenes Of Sinope |

highly unlikely that todays sunburst would affect data collected months ago. I had read that we have been going thru a higher period of solar Flares with Higher than normal radiation from them... Just a thought anyway... :) |

Not possible to reach the 4 server URLs (.13, .16, .18, .20). :-( - Best regards! - Sutaru Tsureku, team seti.international founder. - Optimize your PC for higher RAC. - SETI@home needs your help. - |
