	Hi, Since I rejoined SETI my credit seems to have been downgraded or is that impossible ? I have been with SETI for years even before BOINC existed. I have had SETI running with 25% of resourses for 8 hours a day most of the time all that time. I must admit that I have changed accounts since I first started. Maybe someone figgured that my credit was unusually high and 'corrected' it ? Jan from the Netherlands.

That might be, but the two accounts of yours that I've found show no signs of it. I must admit that I have changed accounts since I first started. Maybe someone figgured that my credit was unusually high and 'corrected' it ? Nobody has corrected anything. You say yourself that you've changed accounts, and that's the reason that your credits got "splitted". Here are the two accounts that I've found (8495966 and 9109526): Name Team Average credit Total credit Country Joined 8495966 Jan Oomen 0.07 682,867 Netherlands 8 Oct 2006 \| 7:34:04 UTC 9109526 Jan Oomen 750.70 24,365 Netherlands 4 Jul 2009 \| 21:35:18 UTC The pattern of connecting times of your hosts to the two accounts seems rather confusing (at least to me), but I didn't spend much time analysing. Before you ask: the two accounts can't be merged, but since neither of them is connected to a SETI-classic account, you could try to do that with one of them. You can detach all your computers from one account (after uploading and reporting all tasks) and attach them to the other (preferably to the one with the most credits). 	Thnx for the response, I somehow lost track of the old account because I have changed providers, forgetting to change my seti-email beforehand. This might be a smart thing to do when I switch again :) Special thanks to Grundolf for looking me up ! :D The thing with connecting patterns might be caused with my older computer wich is(/was) using my Wifi wich doesn't always work. :( Again many thanks, Jan

	The email you use to log-in to account or attach ("Add") computer to account does NOT need to be active/existent! Think of this "email" just as your true username - if you know the "email" and the password you can use the account. (There is nothing "smart" about changing this "email" before the provider "close the doors" because this doesn't matter - no one checks is the "email" valid (active). E.g. to register new account you can use as "email" a string like xxxxxxxxx@yyy.zzz and it will work despite the fact that there is no domain .zzz (so yyy.zzz can't exist). (There are rumors "they" (the DNS authorities) will allow any domain to be registered which I don't like) ) ____________ - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :)
