If you have your forum prefs set to "newest first", and come late to a thread, it can be difficult to go back and read the whole thread before you respond to the first posts you see.

I sent the list to my brother who was an english lit major at Rollins College and although he enjoyed the quotes he also informed me that PARAPROSDOKIAMS is a made up internet word and is not included in any of the major dictionaries.

Don't let that put you off, words have to start somewhere. If enough people use it then it will become an official word and end up in a dictionary.
