I think this is the right place for this subject.
I am hearing rumours about John Boehner having troubles with the GOP leadership for some reason in the 1990s.
As a Canadian the political goings on of the US of A is not every day conversation for us up here in “Workers Paradise of Alberta”. Can anyone help me with this information in any way?
Thnx.

Don't know Celt, but I'm interested to see what response you get and what they contain.

I am hearing the same thing. Honestly, he was not even a blip on my radar in the 1990's.

He now holds my attention as the politician who single handedly tried to destroy the country.

Absurd and Ridiculous Statement-Again.

Japan and Germany, some might say, were Destroyed in WWII. Well, if that is Destruction, then I say, Boehner, bring it on!

For Japan and Germany quickly became two of the Top Economies in The World after WWII and continue to be in 2011 and beyond. Despite their "Destruction".

Even with Japan's Financial "Collapse/Destruction" in the Late '90s and this years "Destruction" from Earthquake/Tsunami, they are doing quite Swimmingly(guess they won't be Sinking anytime soon).

And Germany, well, Wow, what an Economic Powerhouse.

So, if Boehner can singlehandlely Destroy US, then I welcome it.

Like Japan and Germany, it will only make us So Much Stronger and Better.

But, of course, it won't happen. Destruction that is.

Maybe we will Sink Underwater Financially, eventually, but like Climate "Predictions" from our Scientists drowning in Grant monies, The US will drift and Float along till we hit The Iceburg which will sink us(2nd Term by that 'blip' of a Peace Prize Winner).

hehehe

They didn't do it on their own............this helped tremendously.........

Marshall Plan

Even though the aid to Asian countries didn't come under the ERP remit, all the countries assisted owed the USA a debt of gratitude.

The question here is..would those countries have achieved their powerful economies if they had to do it all themselves?

The initiative was named after Secretary of State George C. Marshalll. The plan had bipartisan support in Washington, where the Republicans controlled Congress and the Democrats controlled the White House.-Wikipedia quote

From above: Republicans controlled Congress - Ooops, TeeHeeHee. Someone said Republicans Controlled - Ouch. Do I smell Destruction or Economic Prosperity?

All I know is The People of Japan and Germany did it and continue to do it.

Like The good 'ole US of A will do it and continue to do it. No matter how much Destruction the Dem/Libs in The Senate and Oval Office cause. TeeHeeHee.

Time for Null and Void to enjoy A Cuppa.

Head of the Tea Party? Licking their boots from what I have seen. They say jump and he asks how high on the way up.

Bet he fetches the stick really nice too.

So it seems that Mr Boehner is the kind of person who loves to make friends and help himself. It must cost a lot of money to keep his office in air freshener.
I now know some of the where and why of this person. He should move to the equator where there are no shadows to be afraid of.

Which is it? Is he the leader or is he a lap dog? Can't be both.

Hearing there are a lot of frowns and long faces being worn by Reid & Co. after the meetings.

Looks like The GOP/T'ers have B'slapped The Dem/Libs into Submission.

Of course The GOP/T had to give the other side their 'after the election' prize, so they can try to Save Face during the next 15 months.

Yep, the Dem/Libs will be beating up The GOP/T'ers hard with payback. Good. It will backfire and put GOP/T'ers in The White House, House of Reps and Senate in 2012.

Sweet. Swish. Good Times.

I did not know that could be done in here, it is of no matter I may not agree with an opinion, but not a person's right to one.
Even if the person is a certified, died in the wool, absolute can't stand what they say idiot. I believe they have a right to their opinion.
That is why I don’t agree with Canada’s hate laws. There is just too much room for abuse in a law like that, I think.

our nay sayers have stopped crunching. Some might even say that they were actually just 1 person. so the chorus of nay sayers was just solo voice in the dark than a group of individuals that just so happened to agree on every point

Rev Al Sparpton renames Tea Party the "TP Party". Does this better reflect the true meaning of the TP Partiers?
