Give me a break. He did get it right in the text, but blew the conclusion. Business is not expanding do to a lack of demand. Yes. Lack of demand brought on by the brand new higher personal income and FICA taxes 'Bama screamed for. If you don't have the money you can't spend it. If people aren't buying stuff you don't build plants. Where can you stuff you money? Greece? Iceland? You find a place where you expect to be able to collect it all back. So far that is the USA, but not much longer. All it takes is a credit downgrade because we don't pay down the debt and boom, bond rates will be at 25% and gold will be at $5,000 an ounce. I guess he thinks the government must be the spender of last resort. Ask him if they can spent it on Seti@home! ____________

	Gary, didn't you notice that these figures are for the December 2012 quarter, before the tax rates changed ? I think you will find the the main reason demand fell in this time is because people and businesses were worried about the "Fiscal Cliff", the effect it might have on them and so held on to their cash. Taking money out of the Welfare system also reduces the amount of cash in the economy. The proof of the pudding will be in the March quarter figures. T.A.

The ca is understandable to an English ear as the c is hard sound or k sound like the ko in kona. The jon in English, replace the "j" with "h" and add "e" to get a long O vowel sound, hone. The es is ess. So you have ko-hone-ess. In his sentence it would have been a very vulgar reference to male bravado. ____________
