It is clearly that 'One on't cross beams gone owt askew on treddle'.... Literally, "One of the crossbeams has gone askew (crooked) on the treadle." In modern "Queen's English", "One of the crossbeams on the treadle is out of alignment" A treadle is a two way peddle, like on the old foot peddle driven sewing machines. I presume this might have summat to do with workin' at mill Owzat DMMD ? :-) T.A. |

It is clearly that 'One on't cross beams gone owt askew on treddle'.... I don't know - Mr Wentworth just told me to come in here and say that there was trouble at the mill, that's all - I didn't expect a kind of Spanish Inquisition. |

It is clearly that 'One on't cross beams gone owt askew on treddle'.... Somebody has to come finish this. It's like waiting for a shoe to drop or a chord to resolve. |

For the sake of the guy above the clouds, start validating AP's or I'm going to give away my soul to the guy below ground. I would wait until tomorrow for such a drastic step, think it was Richard that said the validators might by turned of during the weekend due to the problems with the database. |

It would appear from the network traffic that some people are downloading OK, but at the moment almost any attempt from me to download a Work Unit causes it to time out within a couple of seconds (at most) of starting. At which point the client then goes in to a multiple hour projcet backoff. With lots of re-trys & network access suspended & then re-enabled i've been able to download 3 Work Units of the 30+ queued up to download. All of that over a 20 minute period. Something download server related is more borked than it has been. EDIT- whish i'd gotten home & commented on the problem earlier- now things are just downloading without any assistance. ? Well, the "AP not validating sh**" has once again hit the fan. Workunits waiting for validation is growing like mad, and my RAC is dropping like a stone. Might have to float a loan for the toaster oven if they don't restart AP validation soon.... EDIT... The boyz must be working on thingys...because there is a whole lotta stuff offline right now.
