I know I'm going to feel silly asking this, but I DID search and didn't find this exact question asked elsewhere....

For a couple of reasons I'd like my PC to only do GPU tasks, but I don't see any intuitive way to make that happen.

Even more specifically, I want it to do only GPU tasks for SETI and CPU tasks for Milkyway (because my GPU isn't high enough CUDA version for Milkyway, but it is for Seti).

Anyway to sort it so that that happens?

If you only want to run GPU tasks then just head to your ACCOUNT page. Click on Seti@home preferences and unclick the "Use CPU", click on "Use nVidia GPU" and unclick "If no work is available...". the last part may not be necessary but its better to be safe than sorry

Ah...didn't clue in the account had preferences like that (separate from the client). Sounds like it will let me set things up the way I want for most efficient use of my resources.

Thanks!
