When I try to access the websites from the boinc manager it says to set the environment variable browser to my web browser. How do I do that? I'm running Windows XP with Internet Explorer.

With a forum search for "default browser" you'd have found:-)
BOINC uses the operating system's default browser. You have to tell the OS what your default browser is, which isn't done through that browser.

See this FAQ for the how-to.

(I've adjusted the link for your operating system)
