Read the first 2 threads in Number crunching: http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/forum_forum.php?id=10 (those with "HE connection problems" in name) Â - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) Â |

Query: is verbose mode available? In BOINC Manager->Advanced View, then press CTRL+SHIFT+E at the same time for the messages window. You can return to Simple View if you prefer, by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+V. But your problem is most likely as Bill said in that Hurricane Electric, Seti's ISP, is losing connections. It's being worked on and there isn't much you can do about it, other than try to use a proxy or run (an)other project(s). |

Thanks folks - I read all about the server problems. Event log is full of server timeouts. Close this now if you like. Very quick and helpful answers - thanx again. Such a shame SETI's money's been cut. shep |
