I'm almost too embarresed to post this... LOL

I broke 100 k today... 106,794.06 ... I'm still Proud of it... :>)))

It's still a milestone to me.... )

Milestones mean most to the folks that achieve them.
I still remember my first million........

Congrats to you on yours.

Meow!

Thank you ! ... :)

You just had to mention your First Million... LOL

You're almost there.........

Sure I am... only a measly 900,000 to go... LOL

@ Floyds: Welcome To the Number Crunching Forum.
But you just started a few month back......... :)

And, Siran d'Vel'nahr you deserve a milestone, too for your efforts
keeping this Forum Thread alive and nice.

My 'milestone', is, all my rigs (5) are running again..........nicely.......

My newest milestone is that I finally Broke 12K RAC and am now over 355K credits on SETI...

Moving on UP !

SLOW but Sure !
On just a quad core CPU and a 460 SE with only 288 cuda cores...

:-)

458,064. But more importantly it gets me past position 41,000.
41,000 has been my floor since 2004-12-01.

Greetings,

2 weeks and counting without Internet service. BOINC has not been able to get new WUs, upload finished ones or update.

Keep on BOINCing...! :)

Greetings,

2 weeks and counting without Internet service. BOINC has not been able to get new WUs, upload finished ones or update.

That's annoying, in 5 years time, I was 3 hours without ADSL, a bit addictive.
I use 3 QUADs, 1 i7-2600 and a LT , all have GPUs, too
The i7
(Sandy Bridge) 2600.

I like the efficiency, c.q.relative low power consumption, HT, AVX and energy settings posebillities, etc., on an INTEL DP67BG, P67Chipset, DDR3; 1333MHz,
2 channel, 2 PCIe version 2.0 @ 8x(which appeares enough), eSATA and USB 3.0/2.0/1.1. With an IKWatt PSU.(90+) The 'bulk'of the heat, comes from 2 5870s
(ATI) GPUs, 2 x 180Watt, CPU has a TDP of 85 Watt. (Best to turn this rig, UPside
down, CD/DVD RW, turned 180 degree and is mounted on the 'lowest' 5.25 space.)
(And a 'Kill a Watt', to measure it's use and which application has the highest or lowest, power use).

I lack a particular 'Milestone', thats a matter of time.........................but hmmm,
my rigs did a good job, by producing over 20 Million
Cobblestones
, an incredable amount of computations...................

And, I almost should forget to mention a grand Total of
100 Million Cobblestones
, for BOINC, all projects. Nice.(But I sometimes
ask myself, how long can you affort this and how can you explain, in your community
about the extended power use, compaired to, really Idle Cycles cause if you
set your host, to 'hibernate'(my i7-2600) needs only 0.5 Watt use! (Almost everything
is 'switched off', PCIe(GPUs),Ethernet, HDDs, USB Devices, CPUuses 5% max.!

Also new to me, 6 Sleep-states, resulting in 0.5 Watt power consumption!
Takes almost the same time, (even can access BIOS/UEFI, but have to reBOOT, to secure the changed settings)
compaired to a ful BOOT, but you can "resume Windows 7, restart Win 7, or UBUNTU. (Still can't find a suitable BOINC, but this would force me to switch, between Windows and UBUNTU, while I'll try to learn understand *NIX/LINUX!)

Almost a half million feet, a MILESTONE, itself, must be made to "swing" 1500 feet in all diections, instead of breaking :) into pieces..........
More likely, a comma is used in the U.S.A, in Europe a dot, so 41 floor, probably.
Also a nice view, from about 410 foot, probably more... And an elevator, would be
a must, :)

It would also be a MileStone, when you pass me, Dave ;-) , well you can do the
math...........................
