I would like to see included on the bottom tool bar of Boinc a number that represents the total number of WU on board that client in the WU cache.

Comments??

If "no tasks available" continues much longer, I'll be able to eyeball it. :-)

Seriously, BOINC and many users are multiproject, and one big SETI plus Einstein + poker-at-home number won't be of any value. A split by project along the task bar could get tight. I don't know the modern indoor record for number of attached projects on a single host, but the BOINC designers would have to know that. So, maybe you want numbers for the project your cursor is on on the task tab, or something. Then next question is, do you want an application split - AP, 6.03, 6.08, etc. (Something like the improved Task Page on the website - except it lumps all SAH tasks or results together, and just gives us the AP/SAH split for in progress, pending, valid, error, etc. We can now get those counts on that page with the AP/SAH split, but you want it in BOINC, right? BTW, I haven't seen any other projects that have made even that improvement on task page - could be some, I'm only running 2 more projects right now.

Might want to get more specific on how you would want it split, if at all.

Afterthought, too late to edit my post. Sorry, didn't take the time to look and see you're running more than one host. Website "in progress" numbers are by user, but if you could get it in BOINC, it would help evaluate the host situation- right? Would you want application splits?

The website task lists are also available per host and show the numbers there as well. ;-)

I would like to see the following on the lower task bar.

(number of wu currently being crunched) of (total number of wu on board the host)

example...............7 of 452

Then just by glancing at this display you can quickly estimate the work load and cache size on board.

What I would like to see is a separate listing for inconclusives along with the pendings.

Oops, sorry, no. I thought we were talking about the webpage where we now have separate totals for pending, in progress, valid, ect. If they could add another one for the inconclusives it would help a lot for those of us helping Lunatics with their beta testing.
