Perhaps I made this a bit too tricky. Just tell me name of the mountain range, that the hiking trail is on. I don't expect anyone to read the characters on the post. Hint #2: It's inland on Honshū--the same island as Tokyo, and it's inside the Northern Alps region (North of Tokyo). I'll post a 2nd picture if no one guesses soon. |

Akaishi Mountains? You're real close, but don't just guess one of the many mountains...there are hundreds. Just think what is the name of the range--similar to what you'd have to lookup to go hiking on that trail. |

Is that Yarigataki in the background of the first photo? No, but you are on the correct hiking trail. Either name the spot or the serious of mountains that this trail (and others) connect. |
