My linux boxes are still running v4.02.
My XP boxes 4.07 w/o problem. The XP vers was
cownloaded auto. The Linux boxes have completed,
and reported several times.

Is there a prob w. 4.07 on Linux? Is this normal?

If you opens "Participate in seti@home" you can choose
application versions

As you see, v4.07 is currently only released for windows.

The message dated 11-05-04 states that version 4.07 is available but when I go to the download page it shows version 4.13 dated 10-13-04. This is the version I am currently running. What gives?

The BOINC software is v4.13. The Seti project "sub-program"
is 4.02 for linux (4.07 for Windows). The one you download
is the BOINC framework software. Once attached to a project
it downloads the apropriate software for the selected
project.

So how can I tell if I'm running 4.07? The onluy version that displays is the 4.13.

If you click on the work tab when boinc is open, you can look at your wu's and see
what version they are being crunched with.
