Hello everyone,

I just have a question on how to set project priorities. I realize it is probably simple but I cant figure it out. For clarification I do not mean OS priority I mean:

if seti@home has no work units --> work on Prime but when Boinic detects seti units work on those...

I have the the majority (99%) of the resources set on seti, but I don't think that is the correct way to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Set your resource high for SETI@Home and low for the other project(s). E.g. SETI@Home = 10000; Prim = 1.

This means that most of your time will go toward SETI@Home and very little will go toward Prime. Of course, this means on occasion a Prime workunit will slip through, but that's about as perfect as you're gonna get until all projects update their server software.

Once all projects update their server software, you can set a resource share of zero for your backup project and work will only be fetched when none can be retrieved from your main project.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was really hoping I was just not seeing the option somewhere. Oh well.

Thanks again.
