Yeah, I agree with Blurf, seems a sensible approach to take. Those of us that support the project will wait.

I've got enough 6.03 work for a few days. I'm out of CUDA apps, so Milkyway will get those cycles while I wait for SETI to roll back online. No worries.

Sorry to hear that there is a problem, but I have enough work to last for about 3 or 4 days. REMEMBER that this is a holiday weekend. Get out and enjoy yourself ! SETI will be back and running in no time, I'm sure. Most of us have seen worse times that this !!!! :)

No time = 0 hours.

The bank holiday is 72 hours.

0<>72.

In the meanwhile the fan on my GT240 continues to burble along sounding like a Merc G400 CDI. Nice.

My computers are screaming after more WU's :)
It's so quiet in this room now, no CPU or GPU fan's on 100% :D

The storage server has been repaired. It will take some hours to resync the RAID. We will let that process complete before restarting work generation.

Thank for the good job you've all done;)
We can wait a litle longer..hope not to long, I need also new
work to Boinc:)

Um, does anyone remember back in October or November when the site was down for almost a month? Under computing preferences, go to the network and usage tab, set the additional work buffer to 10 days, if you are worried about running out of work. This way the whole system could be down for up to 10 days and you computers will still have work units. If you start getting to many units, boinc will stop sending you units due to workunits getting to close to deadline.

I know of many overclock programs you could run, but I think you will see smoke way before it ever sounds like a Harley. :)

HAHA !! Well, I'd give it a try, but this is the only computer I have ! :)
I'll have to admit it though, there ARE times when I'd like to see smoke roll off of this old computer !!!!!
