My system doesn't even have the Seti Project listed when I look at BOINC Manager?? Has something gone wrong again? It's stayed like this the last several days, and I've even gone so far as to reboot.

Not only have you downloaded several tasks (SETI@home is the project) but also have you uploaded and reported a task today (at 10 May 2011 | 3:59:18 UTC).

Where are you looking when you don't see the SETI project, in the Projects tab or in the Tasks tab of BOINC manager?

If you look at the Tasks tab, is there a button called "Show all tasks"?

Why in the world does SETI keep resetting and disconnecting from my PC? This is not something I am doing. Out of the several projects I am running, SETI is the only one that does this. Each time I reconnect to the project, numerous files are downloaded, as if I never ran the project at all. After my PC is disconnected from SETI, I no longer see it on my project list. If this continues, I don't see any point in trying to run SETI workunits. Any ideas on what the problem is?

That certainly sounds strange, and I would definitely describe it as abnormal behavior!

Perhaps some relevant messages from your Messages tab might shed some light on the issue.

Describe what do you mean by: "Each time I reconnect to the project" and "After my PC is disconnected from SETI"
(how you "reconnect" and how "disconnect"??)

Do you use Account Manager (BAM)?
