	Grad student Andrew Siemion reports that new modifications to a data recorder at Green Bank that we need for our Kepler SETI observations are now complete, thanks to a huge amount of help from Paul Demorest, a former grad student and one of initial authors of AstroPulse. Our first hour of test time is scheduled for this Saturday, 17:30 EDT. We'll be observing with 450 seconds per target on 90 Kepler field stars with interesting planet candidates (~habitable zone, ~Earth size, ~Earth period, ~several planets), then do a raster scan of the entire Kepler field. ____________

	After the Kepler data are recorded, will we continue to piggy back and record data on the Green Bank telescope? Or is this a one-off? ____________

	Hello ! Thanks for the update, and let me be the first to say, "Welcome To West Virginia" !! Green Bank is only a few hours from my location. I wish you well with the work that you are going to do there. I've been there several times, and it was impressive. There is a MONSTER radio telescope there, plus many others. Any idea as to what radio telescope that you will be using ?? Once again, Welcome to WEST Virginia !

	Does this mean we will be getting to process this data? Can one electo to focus on this verss the old data from the static view RT? I'd love to work on this? Given we are exploring targeted sets instead of random sky scans... ____________

	Excellent news! Will these new workunits require a science app. update? Just checking as then folks such as myself using non-standard/optimized science apps. (ie Lunatics) can watch for the new apps. so we can process Kepler work.

I don't know if any of you have seen this radio telescope, but it is a MONSTER ! I stood under it when I was there, and I felt like a little bug. Don't quote me, but if I remember correctly, they said that it is bigger than a football field. Really BIG ! Glad that SETI is going to get to use it. I might just take a little trip down that way. How long will you be there ?

	LOL... I'm just glad it looks like we have now something more 'South' of we've been looking at so far PiP (Proved in Principle)! That has to be a good thing, considering all the other bad news lately! :-)
