I remember that when I first started I was on dial up. I used to be so excited to watch a WU finish. I'd tell everyone in my family to not make any phone calls for the next 15 minutes! Nowadays, I am a tad less excited when a WU finishes...

I think in those days I had a Pentium 400, though could be mistaken. It sure took hours and hours for one wu. I did not even know about caches. I had to rush home to send in order to receive the next unit, over the slow phone line. I think it was the speed of 1200, maybe.
