OK, I'm legit now (see above). Started with an iMac 350 and added several Mac 5500's some time after. They were running OS 8.6 and 9.0 at first. It took about 12 hrs to do a unit so I would dial up in the morning and in the evening to report each one until I finally got a program called SUM that worked much like BOINC does now. Now using Mac mini Intel machines plus some legacy hardware for various projects. Keep on BOINCing. Plus SETI Classic = 21,082 WUs |

So many changes since I joined this project back in 1999. I'm amazed at the computing power changes as well as all the people who have come and gone. |

Can't believe it's been that long, or that the desire (addiction?) has lasted that long. Congratulations to all! |

12 years to the day for me. Just randomly noticed. 5.77 quintillion flops. Friend of mine and I bailed out on our previous team as we're both running 8 core beasts. We've got a team going now for 8 core or more people just started. I thought a few quadrillion was a lot for the team was a lot until I looked at my 12th Anniversary cert. Quintillions. Boggling. |
