The error started when I updated Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04. While looking over the programs that you can downlaod using Ubuntu's Software Center I saw BOINC. I just deleted all my old BOINC files (for the second time) and then reset my pc. Found the BOINC manager install uising the Ubuntu Software Center and ran the install. Thats it! It works now!!!
