Fair enough, I just wanted to be certain. Now then, any ideas as to a solution for him? |

Did you shut down the client before adding in the new software? Yes every time. :D It's just the thing you must do. But this is really starting to get me down. Look, has anybody here apart from me got Ubuntu 11.04 running with SETI@Home working? http://www.soundclick.com/Ketobbey http://www.youtube.com/Ketobbey |

You find it in the Messages tab of BOINC manager (advanced view) after a restart. In the BOINC data directory, you'll also find a file named stdoutdae (possibly with .txt suffix) where all the output is stored. Gruß, Gundolf |

FIXED!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes this has been fixed. The error started when I updated Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04. While looking over the programs that you can downlaod using Ubuntu's Software Center I saw BOINC. I just deleted all my old BOINC files (for the second time) and then reset my pc. Found the BOINC manager install uising the Ubuntu Software Center and ran the install. Thats it! It works now!!! Thanks you so much everyone for you help and time. http://www.soundclick.com/Ketobbey http://www.youtube.com/Ketobbey |
