Here we go again, we are at storm status, there will be aurora as far south as Washington, Wisconsin, Michigan, Vermont, Montana, Maine, Minnesota and North Dakota, same as last night. If you have a clear sky you should be able to see the lights in England and Scotland.

If you live on the east coast of north America down to New York you should have a show right now.
Wow, the harvest moon just came up.

There is a harvest moon out there, and I can still see the northern lights.

I am so sorry that you have cloud.
These were taken from thirty miles from here, and are like what I was seeing.
The sun is pumping it out right now.

Details:
A beautiful and vibrant display of Northern Lights appeared directly over head in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. A number of local RASC Astrophotographers from shot some time lapse videos, and reported they were directly visible from downtown Edmonton and even in Calgary. I captured these from my light polluted backyard to show how bright they indeed were, even with the full moon out. The display started around 11:30 PM and was going strong until past 3:00 AM.

Broken cloud tonight, so a chance of a sighting if the auroro gets this far south.

Getting close to the Northern California border according to the map..
Due to smoke and clouds, zero chance of seeing it tonight... But an incredibly beautiful sunset was seen.

We have one day after a harvest moon, and cloud on the northern horizon, yet we are still getting aurora. We are at storm level.

edit:
I am just now going to put on a jacket, go out and get in to a place out of the direct moonlight, and watch the show.

This is a very strong solar event.
It should show up south of the border.

Jupiter just came up, and the aurora are still dancing along the northern edge of the sky.

What's the odds - its a clear night, the first one for a few days, so what's the odds on a low lat Aurora tonight slim or none?

Hard to say, it looks low, but if there is a big blast from one of the earth facing sun spots we could be in for it. But if you asked me I would say low for tonight.

I guess you can never tell, the sun is heating up again, I can’t say if it will make aurora in England. It may get better by the end of the week. Still, it is getting stronger.

We just got hit by a CME about two hours ago, and now the northern sky is turning a
dull green. I don’t think this strong enough to make it much further south from here.

This all started night at midnight, if the sun was down right now the sky would be alive.

All The numbers say that there should not be any observable aurora out tonight, but there they are. The whole northern sky is lit up green, in moving lines. The moon and Jupiter are not up yet, so there the aurora are. Beautiful!
edit:Now we know the sun just flared and it has thrown off three flares.
