Makes me wish I was still living in Idaho.
CenCal is too far south.

Gee, I wonder what my chances are down here in Florida? Oh well, at least we get to see the rockets and shuttles launch!

Or from 34.9° N 116.8° W...

I know too far south or north depending on the location of the lights.

This time of the year where I live
the sky stays blue even at 11:00
o'clock at night. The aurora is so bright
right now that it can be seen in the sky
very clearly. I can hardly wait for the time laps pix.
SciManStev you are right, no mosquitoes!

Update:
Wow!
The Aurora is now a full blown storm.
It is flashing all over the sky, green, blue,
and with the naked eye some red.
Robert you should see it now.

There is a full blown solar storm going on outside. After sun down there should be a show as far south as the 40th parallel.
This is a big one!

You might get lucky if you live way out in the country,
and the storm gets just a little bit stronger.
Here we are hoping for some clear sky.
Hope, hope.....

Well no matter what I won't see a thing and I'm almost out far enough to see quite a bit.
