Greetings friends :-)
I was given a bag full of vintage "Vogue Couturier" patterns from the 60s and 70s from a friend's Mum the other day, so I decided to make my 'birthday' dress from one of the patterns - a 1970s Valentino dress...
I bought the black lace at a cheap fabric shop in Melbourne, and have been dying to make a lace dress - what could be better than a lace Valentino birthday dress!

That's rough Jeremy...your kids must be very resilient :-)
It is rough, but they are strong troopers. I hope that they never have to go through all the surgeries I had to go through, 9 or 10 of them, I lost count. All on my right leg, to correct the disability I had, its still not 100%, but I can still walk. That is one thing I'm thankful for.

Thanks Mike. Me too. It should be good, as like I said, Shriners Hospital is one of the best childrens hospital. The doctors are top notch in my book.

LOL Yes, I try to be resilient. I'm with you on the dentist thing, I hate going. But the way I look at it is my wife and I both have to remain strong for the kids, if they see us break down, they will do the same. Its what kept my mom going. I now realize how hard it is to go through this with my 2 girls, as it was for my mom and dad when I was a child. I think thats what makes me what I am today.
