I have noticing that my RAC on both of my machines have dramatically fallen into the dark depths of the Mariana Trench, since the 21st of March. Are my machines punping out work that fast or have my wingmen slowly shifted to much slower machines (i7/950/DP58SO/Win7/64-bit/GTX460SE, Q6600/DP35DP/Win7 64-bit/GTX275), both using optimized apps v.037. I also realize that the in-progress tasks have deadlines in May, but this is very bad for this old man's heart and ego. Went from a high of 30,696.55 on the 21st to what it is today.

Just check my tasks and noticed the following:
6,000 valid
14,0000 pending
52,801 in progress

Since they took the pending credits tool away, it is hard for me to judge just what the crunchers are doing day by day.

But, since my RAC is still on the upswing, I'll not fret about it too much.

Going from 30k to 28k is less than 7%. With everything up and running normally I have seen RAC swings of more than 15% for me. First thing I do if I think a machine is acting a bit off is to look at the daily numbers for it from one of the stat sites.
Looking at your RAC graph from BoincStats may be helpful for you if you think something has changed on your end.

Yes it was working fine, but has been caught up badly for an indeterminate period.

Immediately, not a lot.

But it is part of the BOINC project community and comes together via the combined RAC. In that respect it is relevant, and given time the resources devoted there will come back to SETI (Ha! Another relevancy!)

I have one system that went to 58000 on March 13th, then dropped like a rock to about 45000 and has since stayed there. I have tried uninstalling seti and lunatics and all associated files and reinstalling, turning overclocking on cpu and gpus off and on, every combination of things I can think of, but nothing will bring it back up. Similar systems with 2 gtx580s are doing high 50s to low 60s. I have some single GTX580 systems that are at 30000, but unless one of the cards has had a problem where is is slower but not dead, I cant figure it out. If I get some spare 580s then I might try swapping them out to see, but this is all I can think of. At first I thought it was Seti, because everyones numbers were dropping about this time, but then they seemed to go back up again except for this one system.

I feel ya man. Both of my systems combined are only getting back up to where they are now and I feel they have leveled off. Before all this I was at 32k and climbing, then the crash etc happened with the servers. I dropped from 32K to 14K and it took almost two+ months to get back to here only to see myself level out. And Seti@Home stays running on my server 24/7, and on my main machine about 90% of the time or greater, runs more now than before in fact. I added in a second video card into my server to try and get a much higher RAC out of it, it only making a 600 point difference, so I took it back out now, because it's not worth the price of admission. Overall I know it's not about the points but it drives me nuts when they get us used to something and then change it, takes me a long time to get used to it. Especially when not everyone is seeing the same difference.....

I was running about 3700 before the great server crisis. Fell to about 450 at the beginning of December, then mid-January had made it back to about 3300, and I've gone +/- 200 from there ever since. Pretty stable for me.

Well after the discussion of SSE4.1 and SSSE3 I decided to take a look into my machine. And it seems I've been running SSE4.1 for awhile and didn't even know it. I've put SSSE3 back into place and over the last few hours I've jumped up ~1000 RAC between my machine! That places me about 18% from where I was before the great crash. From what I've seen myself and other comment on it isn't too drastic of a situation to see a RAC in the range of mine to vary up to about 10% when a lot of the units I've completed have not been validated yet. So I'll give this a few days now and see where it plants me, hopefully I can start shooting for a good bit higher than I was sitting at, and I have to contact eVGA on a third RMA since all these cards don't cut the mustard....sheesh.
