I can't find anything on the net about DNETC, and this is the only place I could think to post where it wouldn't get bounced ;-)

Anyone got any news?

are they down again. I really don't pay attention to that project. The idea that they now have thousands of contributors who are crunching for the small prize attached. It seems odd that such a project is also routinely asking for donations. This Project and their follow up project are probably a waste of time. They've predicted 80 years as their best estimate for finding the original key. Best to consider other projects that are actually doing something useful
