After 2.5 days it appears the storm may be breaking... Looks more like there's a problem there. Assimilators aren't running, so disk space may be getting scarce, so there's no room for new work. Plenty of tapes to split, splitters are running, but no work of consequence being produced. Grant Darwin NT |

Well it looks like that maybe it, as the Cricket graph hits the deck, until the guys get in there. Cheers. |

The through put to the servers has been a bit high lately, as mostly things have been running smoothly. I think this stresses the need for our weekly outages so backup and minor maintenance can happen. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

Jocelyn still seems to have issues. Before the outage today, which was very short, she was 0 seconds behind the master. Now she is 26,778 seconds behind the master. This must be the on going drive issues. Interesting. Steve Warning, addicted to SETI crunching! Crunching as a member of GPU Users Group. GPUUG Website |

Bruno's been taken offline. No uploads. From what I am seeing on the status page, Bruno is still running the assimilators and validators. Only the upload server process has been taken down. |

I think Matt said a while back that a process was put in place so when the storage area was full things like this would occur automatically. So slightly more graceful than getting weird errors on the client side. With number of results in the field & waiting for validation I would guess this might be what is happening. Then again it would be several things. Maybe in their other other other spare time they could add new messages to the server page indicating when things are stopped by their watchdog process. Nope, I still cannot upload :( It's not too many computers, it's a lack of circuit breakers for this room. But we can fix it :) |

Uploads aren't going through any more, and uploads on cricket have dropped to Zero, I wonder if this could be the reason: CENIC Maintenance. Sunday, May 15, 2011 06:00 to 07:00 (where's San Marcos?) From a data feed kindly located by user seti@elrcastor.com |

Uploads aren't going through any more, and uploads on cricket have dropped to Zero, There is a backup website in use at California State University San Marcos: http://www.csusm.edu/ I don't know if this has anything to do with our problem, i think it is in San Diego, while Berkeley is in San Francisco. Uploads aren't going through any more, and uploads on cricket have dropped to Zero, And San Marcos is way down south, between LA and San Diego, so probably nothing to do with us. Worth a shot, anyway. |
