Well, you're going fast Helli :)
And I wasn't even aware of SERVER problems, or what appeared to be the cause!

Never out of work, EINSTEIN, CPDN{sinds our climate seems rapitly changing and
we have to anticipate, what could be a worst case scenario or more
realistic scenarios, where climate changes were followed for ~200 years!}

Also, some Bêta testing of new ATi AP Progs/Apps, like rev.521 for AstroPulse and
rev.177(or 243?) for ATi MB WUs.

But I could use use some AstroPulse workunits, to try rev.521 for ATi 5000 &
6000 series of ATI cards/GPUs.

Looks like everything's back up and running just fine. Got new work, reported completed tasks, uploaded completed tasks.

Was looking through the just-reported ones and saw that I got a wingmate for an AP from 4.x. 0 runtime, 0 credit. Awesome...[/sarcasm].

[edit: at least it was valid, even with no credit. I would explode on a tirade if something silly like that were to break my streak of consecutive valid tasks (currently 867).]

Time to bump this thread back to the front page.

Downloads dropped off hard about 1700 PDT Tuesday (0000 UTC Wednesday), and the server status page is over 7 hours out of date.

Did the cleaning crew kick a power cord loose again?

It seems ap validators are offline.
No AP unit validated today.
MBs did.

Main reason for the trouble seems to be that SETI@home science database oscar, is offline. With that DB offline, the other WU related processes must go offline too afaik.

Maybe it crashed or something. I'm sure they'll fix it as soon as they have had their first cup of coffee this morning.

On the front page yesterday, 3 day maintenance outage.

In recent weeks I've looked on the "three day outage" as more a "three day window of opportunity". A time frame in which the Berkeley Boys can pull a server down to do whatever they want to do without incurring wrath. So between 16:00 on a Tuesday and 24:00 Thursday (UK times) I see any chance for me to access a S@H server as a bonus. There are those who assume that because for the last few weeks we've had that bonus being paid then it must be so every week...

It does sound nicer, "a three day window of opportunity", can't even remember, being completely out of work............

It's always better then nothing at all ;), it was warm >25C, so I switched off 2 crunchers, the i7(-2600) runs again and later I'll start the last of 4 QUADs, well the
latter has HT.
But I've still work, also quite a lot SETI Bêta MB WUs, for ATI, AstroPulse as well,
i7 has been doing 4 days of AstroPulse work and they do very well on the latest
ATI app. rev.521, 2 at a time! One rig, an i7-2600+2x ATI HD5870, does 8 SETI Bêta
MB WUs on CPU and 4 AstroPulse on the 2 cards, nice ;)
Ehh, also maybe a bit off topic...
