I have two remote machines that are still running Boinc 4.09, without any upload problems I should mention. Anyway, I notice that when these two machines uploaded finished results yesterday, they didn't download any new ones apparently. Both machines show no "In Progress" wu's under the results tab. So, I guess it's safe to assume that these two machines are now dead without an upgrade of the Boinc client? Boinc 4.09 is now cutoff? Unfortunately, I don't know if I will ever get back to one of them to be able to upgrade it.

Your assumption seems to be true by the other messages on this same subject.
Can you switch that remote computer back to Classic for now? It is still up and running just fine.

Uhm, if he can switch back to "classic" on this computer, he can also upgrade BOINC to v4.13. ;)

True. But, at the same time, I think I know what mikey meant. It's much easier to run Classic on remote machines right now, because you know you won't have to get back to them regularly to upgrade anything. Oh well, I'll eventually get to the one machine to upgrade it, and I'll probably just have to accept the loss of production of the other until I can replace it locally.

Hopefully an admin will read this, and confirm whether 4.09 was killed intentionally, or whether there is a bug with it and Seti 4.07. Although, considering the upload problems of 4.09, even though they eventually disappeared, I have to assume the former is true.
