I run the boinc manager on 2 computers. One lap top and one desk top. After down loading the latest manager, the lap top runs fine. The desktop manager is working but can't download any work units. It tells me it cannot connect to the internet. I have a DSL line and I am always connected. The computer it self is working fine but I cannot get the Boinc manager to download. It tries but doesn't connect. So what do I do now?

Do you have a firewall that may be blocking SETI ?

It appears that was the problem. I went to my firewall and found it had blocked Boinc. I cleared that up. Now it is accessing Seti but there are no task available. At least it is now talking to Seti. Thanks for the info. Appears all is well.
