The most recent "World's Tallest Building" went up in Southeast Asia, Dubai, Indonesia, or Qatar, I think.
Are we in that area?

If this is the tower we're looking for,

it is the Telstra Tower atop Black Mountain, in the Australian federal capital city of Canberra.

I know about two Structures who look like this. Towers and
Wind Turbines. The neighborhood looks not like the right
Place for a Televison Tower, so i think it's the construction
of a Wind Turbine.

Whatever, I hope that crane is remote controlled. I wouldn't fancy climbing up that each day to operate it!!!
In Asia?

It isn't remote controled and it's not in Asia.

If that were the wind turbine it would be by far the highest in the world. Stick to the first guess.

I'm inclined to say that it's a smokestack, but given the foggy/smoggy nature of the image, it might be rather difficult to place?

My first thought was the Inco Superstack, but I don't think the buildings are right. (Also, it's too obvious an answer, being the second tallest chimney in the world)

No it's not a smokestack. I'll post a different shot later as a hint.

Is that in the US? Germany? That appears to be a relatively large river, the picture appears to be taken on a very high bluff above the river.
