scurvy Notions Is this one of those maritime trick questions? I counted the islands and got the answer "four maybe five" which led me to dimly recall a place called Five Islands on the scurvy side of the bay.

... The place is not an island ... . If you go in to any geography 300 level text book this place in the Bay of Fundy is well marked out, and very distinctive. I'm merely stun'd as a post. I hiked there; I honeymooned nearby; wife did an MSc on sedimentation there; I studied the chemistry of the basalts in your photo. So you would think I'd remember this ... ? If it is where I think it is, the place is Cape Split.

Grande Ronde River, Washington state? Similarity is remarkable, but unfortunately it's not the one we're looking for. Mmmhh... I think its Donau. ;-) This river is nowhere near large as Danube. ____________ Who the hell is General Failure and why is he reading my harddisk?¿

those actually look like vultures. the wingtips are a clue. Is this in North America? Well noticed skilldude, and it was meant to be a hint for the evening. A bird shown in this photo is not an eagle, but the Griffon vulture, so no it isn't in North America. ____________ Who the hell is General Failure and why is he reading my harddisk?¿
