scurvy Notions
====================
That's the place. It is a very long way from Banden Oregon?
Again we are back in the place that God made first.
Where the water is salt, and the tides are very, very high

Is this one of those maritime trick questions? I counted the islands and got the answer "four maybe five" which led me to dimly recall a place called Five Islands on the scurvy side of the bay.

scurvy side of the bay??
======================
Hmmmm, The place is not an island, what you see here is part of what I am looking for. If you go in to any geography 300 level text book this place in the Bay of Fundy is well marked out, and very distinctive.
Again think; climate, and biology.

No tricks.

I have to go to bed now, the spot from where this image was taken is the same spot where I strode with my children years ago; A time when a person could still go in there.I am on for tests on the morrow to see what damage I have done to my kidneys so I am hoping someone will get this soon.

I'm merely stun'd as a post.
I hiked there; I honeymooned nearby; wife did an MSc on sedimentation there; I studied the chemistry of the basalts in your photo. So you would think I'd remember this ... ?

If it is where I think it is, the place is Cape Split.

A bit of geography and a fun "back story".
Very simple. Name the ship to win.
(If you know the ship, you know where it is. And vice versa)

Thanks PT, I've googled for 'stranded Canadian ship' and the second picture was Kyle :-)

Now let's get back to mother nature. Name the river please.

Grande Ronde River, Washington state?
I have never seen the water that green but the entrenched meanders look familiar.

Similarity is remarkable, but unfortunately it's not the one we're looking for.

This river is nowhere near large as Danube.

Well noticed skilldude, and it was meant to be a hint for the evening.
A bird shown in this photo is not an eagle, but the Griffon vulture, so no it isn't in North America.
