exactly. They don't pay legitimate injury claims from customers why would they pay them.

The Walmart legal tactic is to stall and ignore the court. The court says bring certain papers. well they forgot to bring them. The contempt rulings are a pittance compared to a guilty finding so the Walmart lawyers just stall and stall. I've heard of a case taking 10+ years.

Its a shame they can mock the courts like they do but its never the same judge. So I assume the judges never pay attention to previous court cases against walmart.

If I were a judge on one of the Walmart cases I'd be putting some attorneys in jail.

"In Walmart's case, if it loses, the payout could run into billions of dollars. The damage to its reputation would be incalculable.
"

Um.. I was not aware walmart still had reputation to lose.

Areas where walmart wanted to move into used to get special treatments. Now they are in for a zoning fight and get to pay costs like every other business.
People are beginning to realize how damaging their business model is.

You mean by removing all mom and pop shops. Then hiring mom and pop for next to minimum wage. then when the store ages close up shop and move along leaving an empty husk for a cities business district

that is just a small part of it. Another is starting to buy from american businesses, then pricing and forcing them and guiding them to get the work done overseas for the fraction of the price, laying off more workers..

Ahh yes their buy american slogans have really done well by everyone.

It has been many years since my feet touched walmart floors.
